Department of Tourism, Kerala Government, is organising 10th edition of Kerala Folklore Festival 2018 in Ernakulam district at Durbar Hall Ground and Fort Kochi, from 6th to 12th January 2018. It is indeed a festival where you can see a culmination of 150 art forms from 14 districts, more than 350 cultural entertainment programmes and 500 plus artists.
The Kerala Utsavam festival will remind you of our prestigious and long-lost traditional art forms and culture as the six-day festival features artforms like Darika Vadham, Moodiyettu, Nadanpattu, Pooramkalli, Kakkirissi Nadakam and much more. The first day of the festival, 6th January 2018, was started grandly with art forms like Ninabali, Mayoora Nirtham, Darika Vadham at Durbar Hall Ground and art forms like Thiriyuzhichil, Pulluvanpattu and Padayani marked the beginning of folklore festival at Fort Kochi, Vasco Da Gama Square.
This is a rare chance to see, enjoy and also to show the younger generation of our traditional art forms which are dying so fast. Be there to see the extravaganza of most vibrant cultural art forms.
