Ember, North West frontier cuisine of Le Meridien Kochi has won ‘Best in class- Authentic North Indian Restaurant’ award at Metro food awards 2017. Being the first of its kind in the city, Ember restaurant has set up a benchmark for top restaurants that serve the finest and delicious food by winning the big challenge hosted by Metro Food Awards. The Metro Food Awards is an event organised by Metro Mart to recognise the efforts made by restaurants in and around Kerala. The third edition of Metro Food Awards took place at Bolgatty Palace and Island Resort on October 16, World Food Day.
The Metro Food Awards consider various aspects of professionalism and dynamism of the restaurants before announcing the winner. Culinary experts-restaurateurs who offer good food plus a great dining experience were chosen by the diners as well as Metro food award team. The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), Kerala Tourism, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC), Institute of Hotel and Management and Catering Technology (IHMCT) and South Kerala Hoteliers Forum (SKHF) are the event partners of Metro Food Award 2017.
Ember restaurant at Le Meridien Kochi features authentic flavours from the fabled North-West Frontier Province, capturing the soul of Kandahar, Peshawar, Punjab and Kashmir.
