NAAC accreditation- UC College Received ‘A’ Grade with Highest Points

UC College, Aluva has become one of the top NAAC accredited colleges in India recently. UC College in Aluva received 3.45 CGPA and NAAC accredited ‘A’ grade after the NAAC fourth cycle accreditation survey. UC College itself is the first college in Kerala to receive five-star recognition from NAAC during its first survey in 1995. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an organisation that assesses and accredits higher education Institutions (HEIs) in India.
The NAAC accreditation was awarded to UC College, Aluva not only for maintaining a high standard in education and teaching programmes but also for the experiments conducted in different education departments. UC College has an asset of 2550 students, 144 teachers and 59 non-teaching staffs. The college is located on 42 acres. The first three ranks in psychology post-graduation exam were from UC College. An exemplary library with one lakh unique books makes UC College the best-graded colleges in Kerala. These two factors accelerated the NAAC accreditation of UC College.
